1. Who we are

Account data: your email address and password (stored hashed), plus the shop listings you claim.

Listing data you submit: phone number, website, opening hours, and a description you choose to publish for your shop. This becomes public on the town page.

Payment data: your name, billing address, and payment method are collected by our payment processor to bill the subscription. Card numbers are handled by the processor and are not stored on our servers.

Usage data: pages viewed, town pages visited, direction-link clicks, approximate region, browser type, and referring site. This is aggregated to show shop owners and us how much traffic a listing receives.

Correspondence: emails and calls you send us, including refund and listing-correction requests.

3. Why we use it

To run your account and owner dashboard, deliver the featured listing you pay for, bill you, and keep the directory accurate.

To count visitors and direction clicks so shop owners can see the traffic their listing receives.

To answer your questions, process refunds, and prevent abuse such as fake claims or bulk scraping.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

4. Legal bases

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performing our contract with you (the subscription), your consent (account creation, optional emails), our legitimate interest in operating and securing the directory, and legal obligations such as tax records.

5. Who we share it with

Our payment processor, to take payment and issue refunds.

Our hosting and database provider, which stores the Site's data.

Third-party map and place-data providers, so shop locations, directions links, and ratings display correctly.

We may disclose data if legally required to do so, and we may transfer data if the business is sold or reorganised.

Public by design: your shop's name, address, rating, review count, and anything you publish through an owner account appear on a public page.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in to your owner account and to remember basic preferences. Analytics data described above may be collected through first-party measurement rather than long-lived advertising cookies.

You can clear browser storage at any time; signing out and clearing storage will sign you out.

7. Retention

Account and listing data is kept while your account exists and while your shop is listed. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Refund and support correspondence is kept for up to three years.

If you delete your account, published shop details you supplied may remain on the town page unless you also ask us to remove them, because they describe a business rather than you personally.

8. Your choices

Access, correct, or delete your account data: email DTFoster1060@gmail.com and we will verify your identity first.

Object to or restrict certain processing, or ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.

Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the message; transactional email such as receipts and renewal notices continues.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Security

Access to the database is restricted to the Site's own services and to authorized staff. Passwords are stored hashed, payments are handled by a certified processor, and traffic is served over HTTPS.

No method of storage is completely secure, so we keep only the data we need and for no longer than we need it.

10. International visitors

The Site lists US shops and is hosted in the United States. If you use it from outside the US, you understand your data will be processed there.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date below. Material changes will be announced on the Site, and to account holders by email where practical.
